The Chamber is stronger because of the participation of its members. Volunteer opportunities on committees also provide members with valuable business contacts. Board of Directors - Meet bi-monthly to discuss current events that affect membership and shape the future of the Chamber. The board is comprised of a diverse cross-section of our membership. Staff Contact: David Minor, President/CEO.
Ambassadors - The Good Will arm of the Chamber. They are the liaisons for ribbon cuttings, parades, events, and welcoming ceremonies. Staff Contact: Taylor Pederson, Director Visitor Bureau & Membership Services.
Tourism Development - Provides cooperative action to enhance and encourage growth of the tourism industry. Staff Contact: Brittany Berrens, Director of Marketing, Promotions & Social Media.
Education & Workforce Development - Designs programs that nurtures and enhances the skills of students from our community and create opportunities for Mentoring and Job Shadowing that benefit both the students and our members. Advocacy - Dedicated to developing positions on issues and policies impacting Chamber members in the community. Initiating programs that foster awareness of the political process (eg, Kids Voting), and educating community and business on potential governmental process changes. Membership - Education/Training - Develops non-dues revenue programs and member benefits to maintain equitable membership rates. Develop and implement networking, retention and recruitment programs & communicate our programs and publications to our members and to the greater community. Community Development – Work to promote, enhance and celebrate the community’s quality of
