This scholarship is being sponsored by AFSCME Local #1397 and is to be awarded to two graduating seniors who are the son, daughter, grandson or granddaughter of a current AFSCME Local 1397 member. Recipient must plan to enroll in a 2 or 4 year college or technical school the immediate fall after graduation. Preference will be given to a student who has not received any other scholarship. Scholarship payment will be made to the educational institution and the student by the Local 1397.
