The Twin Ports of Superior and its sister city, Duluth, MN, is one of the busiest in the nation and is the leading bulk cargo port on the Great Lakes. International salties, lakers, tugboats, cruise ships, harbor cruise and charter fishing boats, sailboats, powerboats and Coast Guard cutters and icebreakers sail through our international seaport located 2,432 miles inland from the Atlantic Ocean.

The flavor of our rich history can be discovered in our museums, parks and historic districts. Our unique attractions tell the story of American Indian heritage, early explorers and settlers, the prosperity of the early boomtown days and our part in American history, especially World War II.

Venture into our rugged natural beauty. Let the sweet smells of our North Woods surround you. Walk upon ancient lava beds that date back more than one billion years.
