SUMMARY:EAA Chapter 272 Pancake Breakfast & Young Eagle Rides
DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, June 13th\, EAA Chapter 272 Duluth-Superior will again be holding it's summer fundraiser pancake breakfast along with providing free Young Eagle airplane rides for children between the ages of 8 up to 18 years of age. The event will be held at the EAA chapter hangar A8 at the Superior Bong airport. Breakfast will be served from 8:00 AM to Noon. Young Eagle rides will be available beginning at approximately 9:30 AM (weather permitting). Suggested donation for breakfast is $9.00. Also available\, are introductory Eagle rides for adults interested in the possibility of pursuing flight instruction. There are programs available through EAA to assist in offsetting the costs of flight instruction while working towards completing a private pilot's certificate for both youth and adults. More details about flight instruction cost assistance and applications for post-secondary aviation-related education\, EAA scholarships\, or membership can be obtained by contacting Thomas Betts\, chapter President at: tbetts@gmail.com. The event is free and open to the public. The breakfast is handicap accessible.
