    The Office Associate III provides office support and customer service to the Child Support Department by performing the following duties: greeting visitors/clients and answering a multi-line telephone system. The ideal candidate is proficient in receiving and directing telephone calls; obtaining information from clients for the completion of forms, documents, and records; receiving payment and issuing receipts; running financial records for customers; working case initiation process through the CARES/KIDS interface program; maintaining sufficient copies of application forms/documents for services; maintaining departmental records by filing, sorting and/or destroying closed files according to Federal guidelines; updating or providing demographic data for Child Support Investigators as requested; processing case applications and referrals; and performing other duties of a similar nature or level. Minimum Qualifications High-school diploma or equivalent; graduate of an accredited technical or vocational college; one-year computer or office support experience preferred; legal or previous work-related experience with the state court system desirable; excellent telephone demeanor and customer services skills; ability to communicate with the general public on a daily basis; strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office Suite, specifically Word and Excel; accurate keyboarding ability; mathematical aptitude; ability to prioritize workload. Competencies include attention to detail, initiative coordinating, problem-solving, team mindset, and strong interpersonal relation skills. A combination of education and experience that provides equivalent knowledge and abilities to perform the essential duties of the job may be considered. Full-time; non-exempt; wage based on 2022 scale; $17.29-$19.76 per hour.
