  • 2020 General Election Voting in Superior

    On November 3, 2020, the United States will partake in the 2020 General Election. While there are  large races on the ballot this year, including the presidential race, there are also a variety of state  elections taking place as well. The State of Wisconsin and the City Clerk’s Office in the City of  Superior have a variety of ways available for registered voters to participate in their democracy  and cast their vote. 

    1. Mail-in Absentee Voting – Registered voters may request an absentee ballot be mailed  to them from the City Clerk’s Office through October 29, 2020 by visiting myvote.wi.gov or by contacting the Clerk’s Office at (715) 395-7200. Voters who are indefinitely  confined or members of the military may request their absentee ballot through October  30, 2020. Absentee ballots can be returned via the USPS or submitted via the marked  drop boxes outside the Government Center. All ballots (including those returned via  mail) must be received by 8:00pm on November 3, 2020. 

    2. In-person Absentee Voting – In-person absentee voting begins tomorrow, October 20, 2020 for the State of Wisconsin. City of Superior voters may come to the Clerk’s Office  in the Government Center and cast their ballots Tuesday, October 20 through Friday,  October 20, from 9 am – 4:30 pm. Acceptable voter ID is required; out-of-state driver’s licenses and identification cards are not acceptable proofs of identity. Voters have the  ability to register the same time they cast their in-person absentee ballot by providing  proof of residence.

    3. Curbside Absentee Voting – Curbside voting is available by appointment October 20,  2020 through October 30, 2020. Voters should call the Clerk’s Office at (715) 395-7200  to schedule an appointment.  

    4. Vote on Election Day – November 3, 2020 is Election Day, and there will be five (5)  polling locations throughout the City of Superior. You can identify your polling location  by visiting myvote.wi.gov. Residents of who need to register (or who have moved since  they last voted) can do so at their poll site on Election Day.
