A coalition of economic development partners has announced Great Space Superior, a holiday pop-up market. This market will open November 15 and run through December 30. Great Space Superior will locate in the newly restored Empire Block on North Tower Avenue. Applications for pop-up tenants and kiosks is open through October 12. Great Space Superior is an opportunity for aspiring entrepreneurs, home based businesses, makers, artists, artisans, photographers, and other eligible businesses to experiment with a low-risk and low cost of entry store front retail space – during the most dynamic retail season of the year.
A kiosk or booth for the entire run of the market is $300 per 10-foot by 10-foot booth, with a reduced rate for a larger area. Andy Donahue, director of the Small Business Development Center said, “This is a great opportunity for someone considering expanding to a storefront operation to test their idea during the holiday season.” The sponsors of Great Space Superior will kick off the opening of the market with a Chamber of Commerce Business After Five on November 15.
