NEW UMD Electric Bus Wrap to be Unveiled on Friday, October 12th
DULUTH, MINNESOTA (October 5, 2018) – The Duluth Transit Authority (DTA) and the University of Minnesota – Duluth (UMD) will co-host an official press conference on campus at the Kirby Plaza Bus Hub next Friday, October 12, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. to unveil the design of UMD’s new electric bus wrap advertisement.
UMD recently renewed their U-Pass contract with the DTA for another five years. This new electric bus wrap is a terrific way to show their commitment to the environment, sustainability and efficient public transportation for students. The electric bus will also be entered in the UMD Homecoming Parade on Saturday, October 13th.
DTA General Manager Phil Pumphrey and Lisa Erwin, Vice Chancellor for Student Life and Dean of Students, will make official statements at the press conference.
