Olver Companies to hold benefit for hurricane victims

Oliver Companies of Duluth, in conjunction with the Northland Chapter of the American Red Cross will be hosting a Hurricane Relief Benefit Dinner on Sunday, October 1, from noon to 6 p.m. at Barker's Island Inn in Superior.  The goal is to raise $15,000 in donations to help the recent victims of hurricanes Harvey and Irma. 

There will be a spaghetti dinner and silent auction that includes a large variety of great items donated by local businesses.  There's a suggested cash donation of $10.00 for adults and $5.00 for children.  All proceeds will go to the Red Cross.

After watching the devastation caused by the two hurricanes, Shannon Olson, General Manager at Barker's Island Inn stated, "My heart went out to all those families that were being impacted and I realized that we had to do something because we all know someone who is being affected. I also know the wonderful people of the Twin Ports will come on board and give generously."
