  • Small Business Development Center at UW-Superior to host free webinar for small business owners

    The Small Business Development Center at the University of Wisconsin-Superior will host the free webinar Weathering the Storm: Guidance for Small Businesses from 2 to 3 p.m. Monday, April 13.
    This free workshop will allow participants to gain the insight needed in developing a strategy to address business changes occurring due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The webinar will address various forms of financial relief available to small businesses along with tips to enhance small business during these times.
    Presenters will include Andy Donahue, director of the Small Business Development Center at UW-Superior; Taylor Pederson, president and CEO of the Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce; Lindsey Jacobson, executive director of the Superior Business Improvement District; Jim Caesar, executive director for The Development Association; and Jason Serck, planning, economic development and port director for the City of Superior. The event will include time for a Q&A session.
    Participants will be able to access the SBDC’s free consulting services for assistance in defining a business strategy and guidance on how to identify and seek the financial support needed to proceed.

    This event is presented by The Development Foundation, Wisconsin Small Business Development Center, Superior-Douglas County Chamber of Commerce, UW-Superior, Superior Business Improvement District, and the City of Superior.
