UW-Superior Alumni Association to host annual wine and craft beer tasting to benefit students
The University of Wisconsin-Superior Alumni Association will host its annual “An Evening of Wine and Jazz” event on Thursday, April 25, in the Yellowjacket Union. Proceeds benefit UW-Superior students through scholarships, program support and much more.
The wine and craft beer tasting begins at 5:30 p.m., and will feature live jazz music by the fabulous Greg Kehl Moore Quintet. A plentiful assortment of delicious hors d'oeuvres and desserts will also be available.
“Our guests have a great time, and they love that wine and jazz also benefits our students,” said Heather Thompson, Director of Alumni Relations. “The event is a lot of fun, especially with the addition of our wine pull/raffle, and Keyport does a fantastic job with the wine and craft-beer tastings.”
Tickets are $25 in advance. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door for $35. Attendees will each receive a collectible wine glass. Reserved tables of eight are also available for $240, and include two bottles of wine and collectible wine glasses.
