UW-Superior Music Department to present Symphonic Band concert Dec. 14
The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department will hold its Symphonic Band concert on Thursday, Dec. 14, at 7:30 p.m. in the Thorpe Langley Auditorium.
The concert will include a collection of band standards, holiday classics and the premiere of “Over Wild Solitude” by Minnesota composer Katherine Bergman that will take the audience on a musical journey to Isle Royal National Park.
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and free for students. The Thorpe Langley Auditorium is located in Old Main at 1710 Weeks Ave. in Superior. For questions or additional information, call (715) 394-8115 or email music@uwsuper.edu.
