UW-Superior Symphonic Band Concert to celebrate international music
The University of Wisconsin-Superior Music Department presents its Symphonic Band Concert on Tuesday, April 23, at 7:30 p.m. in UW-Superior’s Thorpe Langley Auditorium.
The performance will include the music of Columbia, Estonia, Germany, Spain, and the United States under the direction of guest conductor Patricia Garren.
“This concert celebrates the music of five countries that have made significant contributions to the wind band’s rich heritage,” said Pamela Bustos, Director of Bands at UW-Superior. “We are honored to host Patricia Garren as a guest conductor and music education clinician sponsored by the UWS NAFME Student organization.”
Tickets are $5 for adults, $3 for seniors and free for students.
