    April 17, 2019
University of Wisconsin-Superior Theatre and Wise Fool Theatre will collaborate for William Shakespeare’s “The Comedy of Errors” in the Manion Theatre on the UW-Superior campus. Performances, directed by Chani Ninneman, will take place April 26 and 27 and May 3 and 4 at 7:30 p.m. and April 28 and May 5 at 2 p.m.

Shakespeare’s zaniest and shortest comedy, “The Comedy of Errors” is updated to be set in the seedy underbelly of New York in the 1970s. In this madcap tale of mistaken identity, two sets of twins are separated at birth and have recently ended up back in the same town, but they don’t know the others are there. Hilarity ensues as wives berate the wrong husbands and servants serve the wrong masters.

This production marks the first collaboration for Wise Fool Theater and UW-Superior Theatre. Both organizations are thrilled to be able to pool talent and resources to make something bigger and better than ever before.

Tickets are $20 for adults, $15 for seniors and students, and $5 for UW-Superior students at the door with a valid UW-Superior ID. Matinees will be by donation. Tickets may be purchased online at www.wisefooltheatre.com
