WITC will provide a unique hands-on career day experience for high school juniors and seniors on Thursday, February 9, 2017 from 9:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. The daylong event welcomes local high schools to bring students to campus and immerse themselves in a college environment. Each student will rotate through four different programs of their choosing. This unique exposure shows students future career paths and inspires students to begin thinking about their future goals.
“This is a great opportunity for high school students to explore degree and technical programs they might not have known were available at WITC,” said Kayti Stolp, WITC-Superior career specialist.  “Students find a real connection between their interests and related jobs by spending a few hours emerged in our classrooms doing hands on activities side by side with our instructors and students.”
Students, instructors and councilors from Superior Senior, Northwestern, Solon Springs. Duluth Denfeld, Duluth East, Hermantown, Harbor City International School, Esko, Cloquet, Carlton and Moose Lake will attend.
