100 & Going strong is a celebration of Centennials, celebrating all things that are 100 years or more in the superior/twinports area. The Events start September 25th with a book signing/slide presentation by Chuck Fredericks, writer of "LEATHERHEADS", Friday is a Dinner and presentation by Pat Dorin, a writer and train Historian.(time and cost of this event has not been set up yet).This event will be at the elks lodge on Belknap. Saturday will be the winter street depot's 4th annual Harvest festival. Starting at 9 a.m from 10 - 2 there will be a car show by the twinports Ford and mustang club, with the addition of some local Model t's (the first model T came off the line September 27, 1908), the winter street depot itself turns 100 this year as well as the Elk's Lodge. At 1:00 P.m will be an ice cream eating contest sponsored by Bridgemans, there will be a $1.00 entry fee.
From 2 - 5 will be live music and ther will be food and other vendors all day long
