17th Annual Wisconsin Space Conference

Presented by the Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium and UW-Superior, this year's conference focuses on the "Internationalization of Space."

The Wisconsin Space Grant Consortium is a joint effort between NASA and organizations statewide. The consoritium is dedicated to helping provide Wisconsin students, researchers, educators, businesses, not-for-profit organizations, and other stakeholders with the tools, connections, and resources they need to make the aerospace community in the state of Wisconsin grow and thrive.

In addition to the guest speakers, the conference will feature research presentations, poster sessions and a tour of the Cirrus Design Corp. aircraft plant in Duluth.

Colonel Williams was born in Superior, and lived in Winter, Wisconsin. His extensive aerospace experience includes two space flights that amounted to more than 193 days in space.

Mr. Palaszewski works at NASA's Glenn Research Center directing research into high-performance propellants. He also has been involved in flight projects, such as the Galileo Mission to Jupiter and the Cassini Mission to Saturn.

This event is open to the public, but space is limited so register soon! General Registration is $60 per person, and includes continental breakfast and lunch each day. Students and Teachers (K-12) can register for only $35 per person; or there is an option to sign-up just for the Friday luncheon for $20 per person.
