2014 calendars that feature and support local animals and a local high school are now on sale for $10 at the Humane Society of Douglas Co. shelter, 3302 S. Humane Society Road, South Range; Silverwood Pet Care, 77 Moccasin Mike Road; Orthopedic & Spine Therapy, 9675 E Elm Road; Poplar and Northwestern High School Main Door, Entrance A. The calendars were generously created by Orthopedic & Spine Therapy, and shots were chosen from about 200 submissions from members of the public. Proceeds will be split between the HSDC and 2014 all-night grad party at Northwestern High School.
