The 3rd Annual Running for our Heroes 5K run/walk will take place on Saturday, September 10, 2016 at 9:00am.
This race is located on the beautiful campus of the University of Wisconsin-Superior, in Superior, Wisconsin.
The early registration entry fee is $20 per person. Please register by August 12 to receive this rate. From August 13 to the September 10 race day, the fee is $30 per person. Early registration guarantees yourself a t-shirt and swag bag. Late registration includes a t-shirt and swag bag until supplies last.
Prizes and awards will be presented to the top three overall male and female finishers as well as the top three males and females in each age category. Age categories are as follows: 10 & under, 11-14, 15-19, 20-29, 30-39,40-49, 50-59, 60-69, 70+
All race participants will also have the opportunity to win some amazing prizes sponsored by numerous businesses. Each person will have a raffle ticket entered into a drawing with their bib number on it. This raffle drawing will be held following the awards ceremony.
All proceeds from this 5K Run/Walk will benefit the Douglas County Soldiers and Sailors Relief Fund as well as the UW-Superior Veteran and Nontraditional Student Center.
