A Celebration of Art and Place - ''Victorian Culture Potpourri''

Spend your Sunday afternoons with us for a multi-faceted series exploring and enjoying all things Victorian. Classes will be held from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on October 10th, October 17th & October 24th.

Topics are appropriate for children and adults. Reservations required.

Adults and seniors $10.00 each

Sunday, October 24th - "Victorian Culture Potpourri"

Come enjoy a lovely afternoon of the finer things. First Amy Degerstrom will present a visual exploration of Victorian arts. Amy is the volunteer coordinator at Glensheen and an art history professor at UMD. Early in her career she was a tour guide right here at Fairlawn. Next, Evelyn Grey will be providing a fashion show of authentic Victorian clothing. The models take a little longer to change, because there are no zippers, just hooks and buttons. During the fashion show tea and cookies will be served.
