This year's annual 4th of July Parade theme is "4th of July, Baseball and Apple Pie". The parade starts at 11:00 AM at the intersection of Catlin Avenue and North 28th Street, proceeds west on North 28th to Hammond Avenue, then south on Hammond Avenue to the Superior Middle School.
The Superior Singers will perform some rollicking fun songs - "Let the Good Times Roll" - at Heritage Park, Hammond Avenue and North 28th Street from 1:00 to 2:00 PM.
At 1:00 PM the Superior Youth Organization is hosting baseball games at the Hayes Court Complex at Elm Avenue and E Hayes Court located behind the Belknap Plaza.
Due to the reconstruction of North Tower Avenue, the annual Independence Day Car Show will be held on East Fifth Street between 19th Avenue East and 24th Avenue East from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM. The event is free - No entry fee, no spectator fee, no vendor fee. "The Bugs" will be performing next to the East End Hardward Hank Store at 22nd Avenue East and East Fifth Street. The Fireworks will take place at dusk (approximately 10:15 PM) at the Head of the Lakes Fairgrounds, 4600 Tower Avenue.
