    Event Description:
    The three one-act labor plays will examine America's current labor system and its history. THE STRIKE is an original play based on a true story about the Great Northern ore dock strike of 1913 after two laborers were killed. PORK BELLIES is set in the stock exchange in the 1980s and takes a look at supply and demand and how that may affect an employee's value in regard to age. THE WORKER is a dark comedy with a twist on the common practice of not replacing workers who are laid off.

    Located in the north end of Superior at 1101 John Avenue. DCHS has a 3 story tall Palace Theatre Mural located on the back of the building.
