Air National Guard Band of the Midwest Concert

The Concert Band and Harmony in Blue jazz ensemble will perform at Barker's Island Festival Park in Superior, WI. The concert will begin at 7:00 pm.

The Air National Guard Band of the Midwest is also known as the 566th Air Force Band. Operating from state of the art facilities at the 182nd Airlift Wing in Peoria, Illinois, their unit proudly continues a rich musical tradition of serving the soldiers and citizens of the United States.

Air National Guard Bands are the active duty band's counterparts in the Air National Guard. ANG musicians are part-time guard members with full-time civilian careers. They rehearse and perform one weekend a month and perform an annual concert tour. ANG bands are a perfect opportunity for musicians who wish to serve their country on a part-time basis.
