2013 Alley Cat Liquid History Walking Tour
The Douglas County Historical Society Announces their annual Guided history tour of downtown Superior Pubs.
Local businesses partner with DCHS for a walking history tour The Alley Cat Liquid History Walking Tour will be held Saturday September 21, 2013. The walking tours will be guided by a local historian to seven establishments in the downtown area that are in historic buildings.
Visitors will be treated to food/beverage samples with a short presentation at each of the seven locations. Participants will receive a commemorative t shirt designed by artist Gary Reed.
Event Details: Saturday Set. 21, 2013 Tours will be leaving the Douglas County Historical Society at 4 p.m., 6 p.m. and 8 p.m. The Venues: Norm’s Beer & Brats, Who’s Bar, Third Base Bar, Capri Bar, The Main Club, Vintage Italian Pizza and the new Shorty’s Pizza & Smoked Meat.
Participants (must be 21 or older) should register in advance, to reserve their t-shirt and place in the tour. Fee is $20 if pre-registered or $25 at the door.
