Superior Reds American Legion baseball team will the hosting the AAA District tournament July 22-26 at the Hayes court complex ballfield. Teams in the tourny are Eau Claire, Chippawa Falls, River Falls and Superior. Games start 4pm July 22 and run thru Sunday July 25th. This is a double elimation tournament with the winner going to DePere, WI for the state tourny. Before our first game on the 22nd the Americam Legion Post 432 will be doing a flagraising ceremony and have there color guards at the baseball games. My other veterens will be attending the ceremony. This is the first time in many many years that Superior will be the host team for this type of tournament. Ages of our legion baseball players are 16-19 years old.
