Angel Food Ministries (AFM)is offering a "hand up" during these rough economic times. A $30 box of food will assist in feeding a family of 4 appoximately 1 week. There is a wide variety of food AFM offers on a monthly basis. There are no eligibility requirements to take part in the program; all are welcome. Payment is required at the time your order is placed. Cash, money order, Food Stamps (EBT), and credit card (when ordering online) payment is accepted. You may place your order online at www.angelfoodministries.com or in person at St. Alban's Church, 1510 New York Ave., Superior. In-person orders may be placed Wednesday, August 12, 6-9 p.m.; Saturday, August 15, 10 a.m. - 4 p.m.; or Sunday, August 16, 9 a.m.-Noon. If you cannot come to the church at these times, call Cathy 715-394-5186 and she'll try to meet your needs.
Distribution Day is Saturday, August 29th Noon-1:30 p.m. Bring a laundry basket sized box to carry home your Signature Box food. People will be on hand to load your car for those requiring assistance.
