The Superior Singers, under the direction of Brian G. MacDonell, proudly present the commencement of their summer 2013 tour “Let the Good Times Roll!”. The Superior Singers are going back to the good old radio days of the 1950’s with a nod to the great doo-wop artists of that time. That’s right, you are all invited to tune in to WSSR radio - Superior Singers radio - and hear the songs you loved from that wonderful, carefree and fun era. Imagine walking down the street of your hometown and stopping at the corner of a busy street and hearing those finger-snapping, yip-yip songs of the great doo-wop artists of that generation - unforgettable songs that bring back memories of days gone by and the fun times that were part of the era that also gave birth to “rock n’ roll”.
Bring the whole family this summer as the Superior Singers will be performing this fun concert at venues throughout the Twin Ports - opening on Memorial Day at the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center as well as appearances at the Mariner Mall, Keyport Lounge, 4th of July at Heritage Park, Fairlawn Mansion’s Ice Cream Social, Lake Nebagamon Auditorium, Bayside Sounds and Bridgeman’s in Gary/New Duluth.
