The Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center honors the WWII and later generations, both at home and on the front lines, who have served and sacrificed to protect our freedoms.
See the historical center like never before when you enlist at Camp Bong.
This original event allows children grades 3 through 8 the experience of camping out inside the historical center for a night of fun and education. The night will involve discovering the items in a soldier's footlocker, hands-on demonstrations of historic uniforms and equipment, and up-close views of a P-38 fighter plane. Campers will take part in exploration of the center, meet veterans, games and a movie before lights out at 2300. The morning will begin with Reveille and breakfast.
Open to all students grades 3 - 8. Cost: $30 for child and adult. All children must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian. Limited spaces available.
