    Event Description:
    On Saturday, September 28, 2013 the Committee on Preparation for Ministry is offering a free Christian Education workshop – including a free lunch.

    We hope you will send your Sunday School teachers.  This is an opportunity for your church's teachers to refresh their skills, to learn new ideas and to be inspired by our instructor and other teachers from around the presbytery.

    We hope you will send a Ruling Elder or two, those who are wondering if they would like to enroll in our Lay Pastor Program.   The class on the 28th will satisfy our presbytery's Christian Education requirement for the Lay Pastor Program.  Our hope is that having experienced a class, people will want to sign up for more.

    The instructor for the day will be Rev. Lou Ellen Hartley, the pastor of First Presbyterian Church, Bemidji, MN.  She will be looking at:

    ·        Christian Education in its Many Forms

    ·       Choosing Curriculum

    ·        Using Curriculum

    ·      Challenges and Resources

    And remember:  lunch is free.
