This training is for anyone interested in flying a drone for commercial purposes: those working in the utility, agriculture, film, real estate, land surveying, law enforcement, construction or photography industries. Prepare to pass the FAA Part 107 Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) Remote Pilot Test. This test is required for commercial operation of UAS/UAV (unmanned Aerial System/Vehicle). This one-day workshop will include classroom theory, autonomous flight, first-person view, demonstration and practice with controls. Understand aircraft operations, regulations, airspace and requirements, weather, loading and performance. Your instructor holds an FAA Part 107 Remote Pilot license, a Private Pilot License, and has been flying drones for over six years. Please bring lunch, notebook and writing utensil. Be prepared to travel to practice location.
