The University of Wisconsin-Superior will showcase food and cultures from around the world for its 23rd annual Cultural Night. This event is sponsored by the World Student Association and the Native Nations Student Organization. Cultural Night begins with dinner from 4:30 to 6 p.m. at Pilgrim Lutheran Church featuring Native American fry bread tacos. Food can be purchased for $5 and $1 for beverages. A presentation starts at 6:30 p.m. in UW-Superior's Thorpe Langley Auditorium in Old Main. The family friendly event will feature performances from cultures such as Vietnam, Ojibwe, Korea, China, and the U.S. Refreshments will be served during intermission. Tickets which can be purchased in advance with cash or check in Old Main Room 230, are $8 for adults. Children under 6 are free. A limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
