    Event Description:
    The windmill was built in 1904 by Jacob (Tapola) Davidson for the purpose of grinding rain into flour and animal feed for area farmers. The historic mill was donated to the Old-Brule Heritage Society, which is working to preserve the site.

    Tours are:

    Friday, October 3, from 3:00 PM to 6:00 PM

    Saturday, October 4, from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM

    This event coincides with the Bayfield Apple Festival.

    There will also be a bake sale on Saturday, October 4.

    A freewill donation is asked for the tour.

    From the junction of US Highways 2 and 53 and Wisconsin Highway 13, travel 3.5 miles east on Highway 13.
