    Event Description:

    The Davidson Windmill was completed in 1904.  Jacob Davidson had hand-hewn all the gears, shafts, building frame and shingles for a windmill from the local woods.  The rumble of the grinding stones is permanently silent, but the windmill still stands to remind us of the lives lived closer to the earth and to one another.

    Tour the Davidson Windmill:

         Friday, June 20, from 3:00 to 6:00 PM
         Saturday, June 21, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
         Sunday, June 22, from 11:00 AM to 4:00 PM

    A freewill donation is asked for the tours.

    Group tours are also available from June 1 through October 15 by appointment.  To arrange a tour, call Jim at 715-363-2453, Earl at 715-364-2216 or Harry at 715-375-3667.
