The newly developed student-run theatre troupe, Superior Interaction, will make its campus debut in April 2014 with an original production, "Frenemies," directed by Communicating Arts graduate student, Simona Simkins.
Through interactive theatre, Superior Interaction explores diversity issues that deeply affect our college campus. To create the script, actors collected stories from fellow students that deal with challenges surrounding issues of diversity. These were then improvised and collaboratively crafted into a final script. Get ready for a dose of reality, as "Frenemies" is grounded in the actual life experiences of our students grappling with often polarizing topics.
Post-performance facilitation welcomes the audience to reflect on their campus experiences, learn through open dialogue, and ultimately support each other's aspirations for inclusion and equality.
Content Warning: This production contains strong adult language.
