    Event Description:
    In honor of Finn Fest 2008, North End Arts Council is presenting "Dovetailed Corners", a collaboration of prose and photos by Jim Johnson and Marlene Wisuri.

    The reception will be held Friday, July 18th from 5:00pm - 7:00pm. Enjoy the finnish folk harp, kantele, played by Barb Hanka. Refreshments include "pulla", rye crisp with smoked white fish, and chilled chai tea.

    Following the reception, Jim Johnson will read his poetry at the Red Mug Espresso Coffeehouse at 7:00pm. Finnish and other nordic folk music will be performed by Arna Rennan, accordion, and Brian Dack, guitar.

    The "Dovetailed Corners" exhibition runs through July 30th. Gallery hours are Monday, Wednesday and Friday from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
