Saturday, June 2nd the Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources, and Brule River Sportsmen's Club will sponsor the Brule Family Fun Day at the Brule River State Fish Hatchery and the Bois Brule Canoe Landing. Numerous activities will be taking place such as catch and release fishing, fly tying, archery, canoe trips, gyotaku (fish printing), and hatchery tours. Fish filleting, turkey calling, demonstrations will also be presented. Activities will take place from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM. All of the events are free and no admission sticker will be required for the day. Free hotdogs and Kool-aid will be served. Gift bags will be given to all children and raffle prizes will be presented throughout the day.
