A new Superior-based non-profit, North Central Windows Program (NCWP) is planning a fundraiser –The First Harvest Community Arts & Music Festival, for Saturday, September 7, 2013, Central Park, 717 6th Ave East, Superior, WI
According to Susan Meyers, Executive Director for NCWP, this fundraiser is about community. ''We strive to serve the community and are supported by the community. This fundraiser gives us the opportunity to showcase our organizations, promoting local harvest, art and well being, safety and protection."
''Come and enjoy local art, live music, art, safety demonstrations, fresh produce, and food at this wonderful event that is a platform for our areas' talented musicians and artists.'' Music begins at noon with a variety of talented local musicians such as Bill and Kate Isles, Sequin & Hauswirth, Mark Anderson Trio, Tico 3 and The Brothers Burn Mountain from 7 - 8:30pm.
