Free Children's Festival

FREE fun-filled festival hosted by Lucius Woods Performing Arts Center with entertainment by Rick Kelley, children’s activities, workshops, prizes and lunch for the kids.

Rick Kelley's Award Winning, interactive, energetic and EXTREMELY FUN performances are designed to inspire people to GET INVOLVED!

From ages 2 to 92 his high energy and infectious personality encourage everyone attending one of his performances to have a great time! By employing a variety of tactics, Rick customizes each show by adjusting the types of participation and the message needed for the event. Performing successfully at corporate events, Universities & Colleges, Associations, grade schools, festivals, libraries and fine arts venues across the country, RICK gets people INVOLVED!

The Children’s Festival is an annual event held in the Lucius Woods Park. There will be toy instruments that children receive when they participate in the games and activities. A workshop has been added for children to make their own drums, shakers and such with household items we have collected over the year. Two music educators supervise the crafting of the instruments and lead the children onto the stage for them to demonstrate their musical skills with the audience.
