Great Northern Classic Rodeo
Name: Great Northern Classic RodeoDate: September 1, 2017 - September 3, 2017Event Description:As we Americans know rodeo is the oldest organized sport in the U.S.A. It's the mental attitude of mind over matter, muscle memory and reflex, physical strength and stamina.
The Great Northern Classic Rodeo started in 1991, and was held in Duluth, Minnesota with several hundred spectators. Two years later the rodeo moved across the bridge to Superior, Wisconsin and has been held at the Head of the Lakes Fair Grounds since. Now we have over 4,500 spectators, over the three-day weekend.
The Great Northern Classic Rodeo is a non-profit organization, all the monies we make go back into the community to local children's charities.
All rodeo events, including: bull riding, barrel racing, team roping, steer wrestling, bare back riding, calf roping, etc.....
