Celebrating FinnFest '08 DCHS will host performances of two Finnish one-act plays.
"The Strike" 1913 Allouez ore dock workers & Great Northern Railway called all men back to work except the Finns because of their involvement with the radical I.W.W.
"Gurley and the Finn" it's a case of mistaken identities when a young Finnish woman is mistaken for famous labor organizer, Elizabeth Gurley Flynn and is arrested.
Performances are at 1101 John Avenue on 7/24 & 7/25 at 7:00 p.m. and Sunday July 27 at 2:00 p.m.
