Celebrate Lake Superior Day on Sunday, July 19th in Superior! While we usually gather together to celebrate our Lake, this year will be a little different. We will be hosting a scavenger hunt to all the best local Lake Superior spots! Beginning July 13th, this entirely family-friendly hunt will be available. We'll be highlighting different scavenger hunt challenges on the
Lake Superior Reserve's Facebook Page. Be sure to check the page for additional clues and photos from other scavenger hunt participants.
This wide-ranging scavenger hunt will take participants all over town, visiting some of Superior's most famous landmarks and beautiful places. Participants will be able to download the scavenger hunt, with instructions, from the
Lake Superior Reserve Facebook Page or they may pick up a copy at the Lake Superior Estuarium, Super One Foods on Oakes Avenue, or at the Yellowjacket Union at the University of Wisconsin-Superior.
On Sunday, July 19th, from 2:00 pm to 4:00 pm our scavenger hunt participants will be able to submit their completed hunts to have their name put into a raffle for some seriously Superior prizes donated by Northwest Outlet, The Cedar Lounge, Epicurean, Trailfitters and Waters of Superior. Children who submit a completed scavenger hunt will also be able to try stand up paddleboarding, courtesy of North Shore SUP. Our Lake Superior Celebration will be wrapped up with a musical Facebook Live performance by One Less Guest beginning at 4:30 pm.
