    Imagine a world with more birthdays.

    On Friday evening, October 9, the American Cancer Society will be "Lighting the Bridge with HOPE".

    The Richard I Bong bridge will be the site of 1000+ people lighting their candles to bring awareness that htere is hope in the fight against cancer.

    After the lighting ceremony, there will be birthday parties on both sides of the bridge.

    The event is open to everyone in the Twin Ports, Douglas County and surrounding area with a registration fee.
