Mah Jongg Classes

This is your chance to experience Mah Jongg, the ancient, fascinating Chinese "game of a thousand wonders" which has recently lent itself to the popular computer version known today.  Don't be mistaken!  The computer game is not indicative of the real thing.  You are guaranteed hours of fun, socialization, endless strategy, and be warned, total devotion and addiction!

You'll see antique Mah Jongg sets, learn the compelling history, meet new people, and learn how to play the class Chinese style of "Mahj".  Classes will be taught by Jon Niemi of Duluth, an experienced player and teacher.

The classes will be held Wednesday evenings, October 7, 14 and 21, from 6:00 PM to 9:00 PM, at Fairlawn Mansion, 906 East Second Street, Superior.

The cost is $15 for the series of two classes. 
Pre-registration is required.
  All proceeds will be used toward the care and development of the Fairlawn collection.
