    The Saturday before Memorial Day, May 23, join the Richard I. Bong Veterans Historical Center from 11-3 pm for our Memorial Day event! The attendance fee for this event is $1, and you can expect there to be: All ages Sidewalk chalk contest, Food Trucks, Tank Tours, K-9 Demonstrations, Municipal Vehicle Display, Douglas County Animal Shelter, Army Recruiters, Raffles, And more!  All funds raised go to the Flora Oveson Memorial Scholarship Fund for Female Aviators.  Please see the website for details on the sidewalk chalk competition to reserve a spot.
