Midsummer Scandinavian Dinner and Tours

The old Brule Heritage Society will sponsor its annual Midsummer Scandinavian Dinner and tours of the Davidson Windmill and Eskolin log house.

Tours of the Mill and log house will be on Fri June 19th from 3 to 5 p.m. and Sat June 20th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. The mill is located at 3196 River Road, Just off Highway 13, 3.5 miles from the junction of Highways 2,52, and 13.

The Scandinavian Dinner will be held at the Lakeside Town Hall 3196 Poplar River Road, Just off highway 13. A short program on the logging ghost towns of northern Douglas County will precede the dinner. Public is invited. 

Dinner menu- Finnish Mojakka (beef stew), Swedish rice pudding, Norwegian fruit soup, homemade breads and bars and beverages.

Cost- $8.50 for Adults, $5 for children 6-12, and free for children under 5. 

Serving will be from 11:00 a.m- 2 p.m. on Saturday.
