    Event Description:

    Enjoy great music and relax outdoors in the family friendly environment of the 2009 concert series with Lucius Woods Performing Arts Center in sunny Solon Springs, Wisconsin.

    Monroe Crossing is considered the "Midwest's premier Bluegrass and Gospel quintet." The band is named in honor of Bill Monroe, the "Father of Bluegrass." Their performance is choreographed around a single microphone in a likeness of old time radio. Monroe Crossing was inducted into the Minnesota Music Hall of Fame in 2007 adding to their list of prestigious awards. They were an International Bluegrass Music Association showcase band at the World of Bluegrass Convention in Nashville.

    Season Flex Tickets are priced at $100.00, and come nine (9) to a set. They are called "flex" tickets because they can be used in multiples or singly at any concert. Each set of Season Flex Tickets also includes one invitation to the Opening Night Champagne Reception June 27. Season tickets are available through July 8

    Adult tickets - Advanced $13 / Gate Ticket $15
    Student tickets - Advanced $6.50 / Gate Ticket $7.50

    Criteria to qualify for student ticket pricing:
    * Youth ages 13-18 years of age
    * College student of any age with a valid school student ID

    Children 12 years and under are admission free. Children are encouraged to enjoy the Music in the Park experience, however; play should not include chase games with screaming or raised voices as it is disruptive to the performers and other members of the audience.

    A $1.00 shipping and handling fee will be charged per shipment of tickets to be mailed.
