NBC Spartan Sports Complex grand opening

It’s an exciting time to be a part of the Superior learning community! Our teachers, parents and community are preparing for students to return to school and the new NBC Spartan Sports Complex is nearing completion. 

The grand opening celebration for the NBC Spartan Sports Complex, located on the campus of Superior High School at 2600 Catlin Avenue, Superior WI, will take place on Friday, August 29. The ribbon cutting ceremony will begin at 1:00 p.m.
 
Events free to the public are the ribbon cutting ceremony and the SHS boys soccer game vs Osceola, which will begin at 2:00 pm. 

Ticket costs for the following events are $5 for adults and $3 for senior citizens and students. The events include:

• 4:15 pm – Gates open for football game 
• 4:15-5:45 pm – Complex open for self-guided tours 
• 6:55 pm – Field dedication, National Anthem, Starting lineup 
• 7:00 pm – SHS varsity football vs Merrill 
• 9:00 pm – Fireworks display 

Pre-kindergarten aged children will be admitted free to these events.

Tickets will be presold on Thursday, August 28 from 10:00 am to 3:30 pm and Friday, August 29 from 7:30 am to 12:00 noon. Advanced tickets can be purchased in Office B-1 (enter door 11) at Superior High School.
