PANEL DISCUSSION ON DOWNTOWN REDEVELOPMENT. Panelists include Joe Lawniczak from the Main Street Program in Madison. Mr. Lawniczak will give a presentation on the Main Street program in general and talk a bit about Connect Communities. Superior is one of the inaugural Connect Communities. Connect Communities offers technical assistance and networking opportunities to local leaders interested in revitalizing their downtown or urban commercial districts. It also provides access to additional financial and technical assistance programs.
Other panelists attending will be Kaye Tenerelli from the Superior Business Improvement District, Michelle Hostetler from the Development Association, a representative of the arts group, SPACES, Jon Winter from DCHS and moderator, Drew Mannetter. This is an opportunity for members of the community to ask questions about, comment on and discuss downtown redevelopment.
