Pattison Park Summer Program: ''Exciting Stories froma Fisherman''

Pattison State Park offers a variety of FREE family-oriented fun educational programs during the summer months. There is no cost to attend the activities, however, vehicle admission stickers are required (daily and annual resident/non-resident stickers are available).

Stephen Dahl is a local commercial fisherman who has fished in Alaska and, for the last 27 years, the North Shore of Lake Superior. His earlier years include work in North Norway, a year of study in Denmark and graduate work in Scandinavian literature and languages at the University of Minnesota. He is the author of the current selling book, Knife Island: Circling a Year in a Herring Skiff.
