The Wisconsin Department of Transportation (WisDOT) Northwest Region will hold a public involvement meeting to discuss resurface and improvements on US 2 / US 53, East Second Street between 2nd Avenue East and 31st Avenue East in the City of Superior. The meeting will be an informal open house. Exhibits showing the plan concepts, traffic impacts, and impacts to parks and recreational areas will be on display. Project representatives will be available to discuss the project on an individual basis. This project involves the resurfacing of pavement with concrete panel repair, and includes repair of inlets and utility manholes, curb ramp replacements, and sidewalk panel replacement. The structure spanning the railroad would be rehabilitated, including a surface overlay. This project is expected to occur during the 2020 construction season.
